Expertise

Arthrodesis (Fusions) | Disc Arthroplasty Replacement | Disc Herniation | Orthopedic Spine Surgery | Scoliosis

I believe that successful orthopedic care begins with understanding each patient’s goals and lifestyle, and developing a treatment plan that is both effective and appropriate for their individual needs. My approach emphasizes thoughtful evaluation, clear communication and use of advanced surgical and non-surgical techniques to help patients return to activity safely and confidently.

I am a board-certified orthopedic surgeon with specialized training in spine and sports-related conditions. I earned my medical degree from the Medical College of Pennsylvania and completed my internship and residency at Fitzsimons Army Medical Center, followed by a fellowship at Thomas Jefferson University Hospital. My clinical practice focuses on cervical disc replacement, minimally invasive spine procedures, spinal fusions, and the treatment of cervical, thoracic, and lumbar degenerative disc disease. In addition, I treat a wide range of sports medicine injuries and perform elbow, wrist and knee surgery, as well as orthopedic trauma surgery.

Outside of my clinical practice, I value staying spiritually and physically active and understand firsthand the importance of mobility, strength and function. These principles guide my care and reinforce my commitment to helping patients achieve durable outcomes that support their long-term health and quality of life.

The Patient Satisfaction Rating is an average of all responses to the care provider related questions from our nationally recognized Press Ganey Patient Satisfaction Survey. Patients that are treated in outpatient or hospital environments may receive different surveys, and the volume of responses will vary by question.

Responses are measured on a scale of 1 to 5 with 5 being the best score.

The comments are submitted by patients and reflect their views and opinions. The comments are not endorsed by and do not necessarily reflect the views of St. Luke's University Health Network.
