I am a board-certified neurologist with fellowship training in Autoimmune Neurology from the Mayo Clinic. In my practice, I diagnose and treat conditions in which the immune system mistakenly attacks the brain, spinal cord or nerves, causing symptoms that can affect movement, sensation, vision, thinking, behavior and other important functions. Conditions I treat include autoimmune encephalitis, paraneoplastic neurologic syndromes, neuromyelitis optica spectrum disorder (NMOSD), myelin oligodendrocyte glycoprotein associated disease (MOGAD), stiff person syndrome, neurosarcoidosis and central nervous system vasculitis. Evaluating these conditions often requires advanced neurological testing and close collaboration with other specialists to provide comprehensive care.

I also care for hospitalized patients as a neurohospitalist, treating a wide range of neurological conditions. My approach to medicine is built on teamwork, humility and evidence-based care. I believe the patient, family, primary care provider and health care team all play important roles in the decision-making process. My role is to provide neurological expertise, listen carefully and make informed recommendations while respecting each patient’s goals and preferences. I value collaboration with colleagues and stay current with scientific research to help guide the care I provide.
