I am a board-certified specialist in cardiology who joined St. Luke’s University Health Network in 2012. I am a noninvasive cardiologist — a physician who specializes in the comprehensive care of cardiac patients while they are in the hospital as well as the outpatient setting.
I currently focus on Primary Prevention, with the goal of controlling risk factors and preventing heart disease before it begins. It is my belief that a person should understand his/her disease, and therefore education is a major part of my patient care.
As part of a multidisciplinary group, my colleagues and I offer patients a team approach to treating coronary artery disease, heart valve disease, arrhythmias, and heart failure. I am also interested in Women’s Heart Disease and am one of the principal cardiologists of the Women’s Heart Center.
I firmly believe that we are in a very exciting and progressive time in medicine. Many of the innovative resources, medicines, and treatment options are available at St. Luke’s, and I am proud to be a part of this superior team.

“I was getting a 2nd opinion and at the same time looking for a doctor that was right for me. I made my appointment online with the dr that had the soonest opening and I liked her bio. Unfortunately I knew I'd have to wait. All I want is a doctor that cares, listens, follows up and is reassuring. I feel I found this at this visit with Dr Thomas.”

The Patient Satisfaction Rating is an average of all responses to the care provider related questions from our
nationally recognized Press Ganey Patient Satisfaction Survey. Patients that are treated in outpatient or hospital environments may receive different surveys, and the volume of responses will vary by question.
Responses are measured on a scale of 1 to 5 with 5 being the best score.
The comments are submitted by patients and reflect their views and opinions. The comments are not endorsed by and do
