Bariatric Surgery | Weight Loss/ManagementI am a bariatric and metabolic surgeon specializing in minimally invasive and advanced laparoscopic surgery at the Weight Management Center at St Luke's University Health Network. My practice is dedicated to the treatment of obesity and weight related issues. My research has focused on how to optimize outcomes for the treatment of obesity through surgery.
My specialization is highly specific in bariatric surgical treatments including gastric bypass, sleeve gastrectomy, adjustable gastric banding, bilio-pancreatic diversion and revision surgery.
As part of a multidisciplinary group, my colleagues and I offer patients a team approach to treating a wide spectrum of metabolic issues related to obesity. We always perform the surgeries with a laparoscopic and minimally invasive approach ensuring a faster and more expedited recovery for our patients.
I have been involved in medicine and surgery for the past 25 years and I have never found a specialty as rewarding as bariatric surgery. We are giving our patients a second chance in life allowing them to live the lives they deserve in a healthier and more fulfilling way.
