Charles E. Digby, DO

I believe compassionate care begins with truly listening to each patient’s individual story. My goal is to build long-lasting relationships with my patients and to help them take an active role in their health through education, prevention and evidence-based medicine.

I completed my internal medicine residency at St. Luke’s University Health Network, then practiced as a hospitalist for one year before transitioning to outpatient internal medicine. I spent the next 10 years providing primary care before taking the opportunity to move to New Zealand for two years. While there, I cared for geriatric patients in both hospital and clinic settings, further expanding my experience with this population.

These experiences deepened my appreciation for continuity of care and reinforced the importance of supporting patients through every stage of life. I am excited to return to the Lehigh Valley and to St. Luke’s Hospital, where I am grateful to once again serve this community by providing comprehensive primary care.

Outside of work, I enjoy spending time with my family and sharing my love of travel by exploring new places and cultures whenever I can.
