I am a strong believer in patient education and shared decision-making. I take great pride in sharing the pros and cons associated with each treatment option. When patients come to me, they can expect an honest and comprehensive discussion about what they’re dealing with and how best to address it, tailored to their unique needs and life circumstances.

I am a board-certified general surgeon with additional board certification in critical care surgery. I am one of the few surgeons in the region who use robotic technology across the full spectrum of surgeries, from routine to emergent.

Among other conditions, I treat hernias (simple to complex), gallbladders, appendixes, colons, adhesions, and lumps and bumps, such as skin masses or cysts.

As an educator, I am grateful to share my knowledge and teach students, residents, fellows and other surgeons. I have helped my surgical colleagues perform safe, efficient surgeries on the robotic platform – a system that integrates hardware and software components to perform safe and efficient surgeries.

Outside of work, I enjoy raising my two daughters with my wife, who is a Lehigh Valley native. As a family, we love to cook, travel and explore the outdoors, rain or shine.
