Benjamin E. Shore, MD

I believe helping someone through a surgical problem is both a privilege and a responsibility. My goal is to provide the highest level of surgical care while ensuring patients fully understand their diagnosis, treatment options and what to expect throughout their care journey. I believe the physician-patient relationship is built on trust, communication and compassion.

As a general surgeon with St. Luke's University Health Network, I provide comprehensive surgical care for a variety of conditions, including hernias, gallbladder disease and other common surgical concerns. I am board certified in General Surgery by the American Board of Surgery and am committed to delivering safe, high-quality care tailored to each patient's individual needs.

Whether I am caring for a patient undergoing a routine procedure or addressing a more complex surgical condition, I strive to help patients and their families feel informed, supported and confident in their treatment plan.

Outside of work, I enjoy spending time with my family, staying active, exploring the outdoors and reading science fiction.
