I believe health care begins with listening. My goal is to build lasting relationships with my patients by providing compassionate, evidence-based care that treats the whole person, not just their medical conditions. I strive to create an environment where every patient feels heard, respected and empowered to take an active role in their health. As a bilingual physician fluent in English and Spanish, I am passionate about improving access to quality care for diverse and underserved communities.

I am a Family Medicine physician with training in the full spectrum of Primary Care, including preventive medicine, chronic disease management, acute care, women's health, pediatrics and geriatric medicine. I completed my Family and Community Medicine Residency at Penn State Health St. Joseph Medical Center in 2026, where I was honored with the Dr. Robert Hippert Memorial Family Medicine Residency Award in recognition of excellence in clinical family medicine, practice management, community outreach and future leadership in medicine. I also completed the Clinical Educator Track through the Woodward Center for Excellence in Health Sciences Education at Penn State College of Medicine, which strengthened my commitment to teaching and mentoring the next generation of physicians.

Throughout my training, I have served as a mentor to undergraduate students, medical students and resident physicians. I have contributed to multiple research and quality improvement initiatives focused on reducing health care disparities in Latino and LGBTQ+ communities, improving resident wellness, enhancing HIV prevention education, promoting skin cancer screening and increasing diabetes literacy. My scholarly work includes several peer-reviewed publications, including contributions to the 5-Minute Clinical Consult, a Cochrane review for the American Academy of Family Physicians (AAFP) and research on diabetes in Latin America.

Outside of medicine, I enjoy singing, playing guitar, drawing, crocheting and spending time with family and friends. I also value community service and believe that caring for others extends beyond the clinic. Whether teaching, volunteering or caring for patients, I strive to lead with kindness, curiosity and a lifelong commitment to learning.
