Alexandra Newins, MS, CCC-SLP

I am a Speech-Language Pathologist who is passionate about helping children and families build meaningful communication skills through collaborative, family-centered care. I earned both my Bachelor of Science and Master of Science degrees in Speech-Language Pathology from Misericordia University, and hold the Certificate of Clinical Competence from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association.

My clinical interests include early language development, autism, augmentative and alternative communication (AAC), childhood apraxia of speech, gestalt language processing and parent coaching. I enjoy partnering closely with families to provide practical strategies that support communication growth in everyday life and helping children explore high-tech speech-generating devices while guiding families through the funding process.

I believe the best outcomes come from empowering caregivers and creating individualized plans that support each child’s unique strengths and goals. I am also passionate about mentoring future Speech-Language Pathologists and supporting clinicians throughout their professional development.

Outside of work, I enjoy running, coaching and playing soccer year-round.
