The Patient Satisfaction Rating is an average of all responses to the care provider related questions from our nationally recognized Press Ganey Patient Satisfaction Survey. Patients that are treated in outpatient or hospital environments may receive different surveys, and the volume of responses will vary by question.
Responses are measured on a scale of 1 to 5 with 5 being the best score.

“This was a follow up appt after open heart surgery, some of the questions did not exactly fit seeing Dr . D'Angelo. He is an excellent surgeon and a very patient and family oriented physician.”

“I like Dr. DeAngelo. He Is always kind and courteous, takes his time with me and answers all my questions so I can understand the answer. He Is extremely talented and did a great job with my open heart surgery. I didn't know him until I needed the surgery, I consider myself lucky to have had him perform my bypass surgery. I would highly recommend him to anyone. In whole, I was very please with the entire St. Luke's staff that I encountered through my ER visit, hospital stay and follow-up appointments. Everyone treats me with kindness, respect and are overall nice people.”

“I cannot say enough good things about Dr. D'Angelo, an outstanding doctor and human being, probably saved my life. I required a pacemaker after surgery. I do not remember the doctor's name but before surgery he prayed with me. I'm not religious but emotionally it meant a lot to me. All other staff was exceptionally trained and courteous. A sign of a happy well cared for staff. One last note, an orderly I think his name was A_____ helped me with an embarrassing issue. He was very helpful and even made kind of a joke of it that also helped my emotional well being. Thanks to ALL.”

“Dr.DeAngelo saved my life. Without his talent as a surgeon I probably wouldn't have survived. I would never thought I would have needed an Aoritic dissection. Dr. DeAngelo and his team are the best. St. Luke's is lucky to have such a kind, caring and attentive surgeon. I am very grateful to all of my St. Luke's physicians and staff.”

“The first person I saw was the PA who reviewed all information and discussed probable surgery and method of surgery. Dr D'Angelo followed up and discussed final method of surgery and answered all questions.”
