St. Luke's Center for Diabetes & Endocrinology - Palmerton
I am an adult endocrinologist with St. Luke’s Center for Diabetes and Endocrinology. I received my medical degree from Shahid Sadoughi University of Medical Sciences in Iran. I completed my first residency in internal medicine at Shahid Beheshti University of Medical Sciences and my second internal medicine residency at Jamaica Hospital Medical Center in New York, where I served as a chief resident as well.
My residency was followed by a 2-year fellowship in endocrinology, diabetes and metabolism at St. Luke’s University Health Network.
I am board certified in internal medicine. I am a member of the Endocrine Society and American Association of Clinical Endocrinologists. I have presented posters on Glucagonoma, McArdle’s disease and Pseudohypoparathyroidism at Endo Society conferences.
I joined St. Luke’s Center for Diabetes and Endocrinology in 2022 where I enjoy treating patients with diabetes and thyroid disease, as well as a wide range of other endocrine diseases.

“I am a first time patient of Dr. Zare. (Your questionnaire prompts at "3 months".) No history between us has been established as yet. I am scheduled for a cat scan of the parathyroids next week. Dr. Zare and I will continue from there. I was very pleased with my Initial visit with him.”

“This is my first visit with Dr. Zare. The reason I started looking for another provider is because of the quality of care I have received from another Network. I was very pleased with Dr. Zare in not only spending adequate time with me explaining things but with the after visit instructions which were so much better than absolutely nothing received from Jefferson.”

“I absolutely love Dr Zare, he is so informative, kind, patient, and understanding. He doesn't rush through your visit, he takes the time to listen to your concerns and answers all of your questions. I always leave his office feeling good and that my health is in good hands. St Luke's better never let him go.”

“This was my first visit with Dr.Zare. An ER doctor suggested I go to a urologist and then the uorologist recommended an endocrinologist. Dr. Zare saw me . When I checked the next day, My Chart for the Lab request, there were pre- lab instructions that I didn't understand. So I messaged Dr. Zare for a clarification. I go an almost immediate response to my questions. That quick response was impressive and much appreciated.”
