St. Luke's Orthopedic Care - Allentown
As a physician, I believe in treating every patient like family. I strive to get to know each patient on a personal level, and fully understand their goals for returning to activity. I am incredibly excited to get involved in the local communities. I take great pride in my arthroscopic shoulder and knee expertise. I look forward to using my unique skill-set to offer joint preserving surgical options and have a particular passion for cartilage restoration, meniscus transplantation, and ligament reconstruction about the knee (ACL, PCL, LCL, MCL). In the shoulder, preserving the native joint is always my goal. This typically involves surgery for rotator cuff tears, as well as labral tears, which are often a result of shoulder instability due to dislocations.
I am a board-certified orthopedic surgeon specializing in surgery of the shoulder and knee. I earned my DO at the Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine where I completed a residency. I also completed a fellowship in adult and pediatric sports medicine at the University of Pennsylvania and Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia.
As a sports fellowship trained orthopedic surgeon, I feel passionate about knee and shoulder preservation, typically with arthroscopic surgery. I prefer to treat injuries of the shoulder and knee in a minimally invasive manner whenever possible. I am currently a member of the Arthroscopy Association of North America, the American Orthaopedic Society of Sports Medicine and the American Osteopathic Academy of Orthopedics.
Outside of work, I enjoy hiking, biking, running, and reading. Spending most of time with my wife, new daughter, and puppy.

“This was a post-op visit. Dr. Doroshow spent an abundance of time with me and answered all of my questions. The whole, pre-op, op, and post-op experience was great EXCEPT for the hospital-centric manner in which surgery time is handled (not known until the evening before surgery). That's a black eye on an otherwise excellent experience.”

“No one can choose the location of where they will have an accident or injury but to have an orthopedic injury just minutes away from SL-Q and to receive surgery from Dr. Doroshow isn't something that happens every day.I was in the right place at the right time to get the excellent care I needed. I expect to have successful recovery from my injury, thank you all very much.”
