Family MedicineI am a strong proponent of preventive medicine who strives to care for each and every patient the way I would want myself or my family members cared for. I try to take the whole patient – mind, body and spirit – into account, and I believe that all body systems are interrelated and dependent upon one another for good health.
I graduated from Penn State University with a degree in biology before earning my medical degree from the Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine. I did my family medicine residency at Excela Health Latrobe Hospital, where I was chief resident.
I am certified in family medicine by the American Osteopathic Board of Family Physicians. I'm also certified in basic life support.
My professional association memberships include the American College of Osteopathic Family Physicians, the American Osteopathic Association, the American Academy of Family Physicians and the Pennsylvania Osteopathic Medical Association.
In my free time, I enjoy traveling, cooking with my husband and spending time with my newborn daughter.
