Maternal & Early Child Health Initiatives
The Maternal & Early Child Health (MCH) Initiatives consist of two programs implemented through the Visiting Nurse Association of St. Luke’s: the Nurse-Family Partnership (NFP) and the Visiting Nurse Advocate for the County (VNAC). Together, the MCH programs address the following priority areas: pregnancy outcomes including low birth weight and preterm birth, prevention of child abuse, and keeping children on track physically and developmentally.
