Star Community Health is pleased to announce its upcoming Walk for Health fundraiser on Saturday, May 16, from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. at the Bethlehem Township Community Center. This family‑friendly community walk will support the expansion of critical medical, dental and mental health services across Lehigh, Northampton, Carbon and Schuylkill Counties, as well as Phillipsburg, NJ.
Participants will enjoy a refreshing 1.3‑mile walk along the paved and gravel loop encircling the Bethlehem Township Community Center. Beginning and ending at Pavilion One, this scenic path will guide participants around the entire property, offering a peaceful, accessible setting for walkers of all ages and abilities.
There will be interactive activity stations, community resource booths, and fun surprises that celebrate Star Community Health’s mission of helping local families stay healthy, connected and strong. Local food trucks will also be on site serving a variety of delicious options.
Registration is $25 per walker, and children 13 and under can participate for free, making the event accessible for families of all sizes. Proceeds will directly benefit Star Community Health’s ongoing work to increase access to high‑quality, affordable care in communities that need it most.
"Our Walk for Health is more than a fundraiser -- it’s a celebration of the power of community,” says Quynh Hicks, Executive Director, Star Community Health. “Every step taken helps us expand essential health services for families across our region. We’re grateful for the support of our neighbors, partners, and local organizations who believe in building a healthier future together.”
