The Sand Island Classic 3 on 3 Basketball Tournament is scheduled for Saturday, May 18 at the Sand Island Park Basketball Courts, 56 River Street Bethlehem. This event is FREE and sponsored by the City of Bethlehem, the Bethlehem Area School District and St. Luke’s Health University Health Network.
For youth in grades 3 through 8, the Sand Island 3 on 3 is organized by the Bethlehem Recreation Bureau, along with the basketball coaches from both Freedom and Liberty High Schools. St. Luke’s University Health Network is providing athletic trainers and athletic training services for the duration of the event.
All participants will receive a FREE t-shirt and awards will be given for team champions in all six divisions.
The Bayou will be providing a food truck for refreshments throughout the day. Pre-registration is encouraged as there are limited spots in each division. Same day registration will be available only in those divisions that still have availability.
