“Wellness 101” is an interactive and funny health and wellness online series highlighting the most current health issues to help the average Joe stay well. Wellness 101 was honored in the Public Affairs Program (Single Program) category for the episode “Wellness 101 Show: How to Survive a Quarantine with Kids;” in the Branded Content category for the episode “Wellness 101 Jr. – What is COVID-19?” and in the Talent – Program Host/Moderator category for Jeffrey Hartney, director and host. “I wanted to create something impactful, yet relatable. Health care information can sometimes be overwhelming. My main goal was to help people,” says Hartney. When it came time to find a healthcare professional to partner with, Hartney looked no further than St. Luke’s University Health Network. “We are extremely proud of our award-winning co-productions with Jeff Hartney and The Production Pocketknife,” says Ken Szydlow, vice president and chief marketing officer, St. Luke’s University Health Network and executive producer of Wellness 101. “This innovative show provides simple but important health and wellness information in a humorous and easy-to-watch format.”

“It’s a privilege and honor to have won, as well as to have partnered with St. Luke’s University Health Network,” adds Hartney. “It’s a pivotal time to educate our community on how to stay healthy and share important information from healthcare experts in a way we can all relate.” The future is bright for St. Luke’s and The Production Pocketknife, as they plan their children’s series “Wellness 101 Junior.” Hartney, a father of two in the Bethlehem Area School District, knows this information is crucial for a successful and safe school year.
