Safety on the Ice!

St Luke’s Sports Medicine staff and faculty members from Moravian College’s Athletic Training Program teamed up to provide coaches from the Phantoms Youth Hockey Coaching Staff with essential skills needed to manage on-ice emergencies. The training included presentations on first aid, concussions, sudden cardiac arrest and emergency action planning.  St. Luke’s Sports Medicine and their partners continue to  address the need for training of youth sport coaches and parents.  Together we are improving the level of care for all athletes. St. Luke’s is the official Sports Medicine provider of Phantoms Youth Hockey and the region’s leading provider of Sports Medicine.
