New Doctors Bring Wealth of Experience to St. Luke’s Allentown Pediatrics

Joining St. Luke’s Allentown Pediatrics are two new doctors – Vincent Moffitt, MD, and Elyse Pagerly, MD – with a range of specialty training and decades of leadership experience in pediatrics.

St. Luke’s Allentown Pediatrics – located within St. Luke’s West End Medical Center at 501 Cetronia Road, Suite 115 in Allentown – is now accepting new patients for the doctors.

“St. Luke’s Allentown Pediatrics gives patients and their families convenient and easy access to a uniquely personal patient experience as well as a variety of services in the same area, such as lab, radiology, urgent care, OB/GYN providers and many others,” says Jessika Haynos, SLUHN Pediatrics Service Line Manager.

A pediatrician for 40 years, Dr. Moffitt most recently was also Chair of the Department of Pediatrics and Medical Director of the Pediatric Hospitalist Program at Reading Hospital.

After earning his medical degree from Temple University School of Medicine, Dr. Moffitt served an internship at The Reading Hospital and Medical Center, and a residency at St. Christopher’s Hospital for Children.       

Dr. Moffitt is a Fellow of the American Academy of Pediatrics; a Diplomat of the American Board of Pediatrics; and a member of the Pennsylvania Chapter of the American Academy of Pediatrics, the Berks County Medical Society and the Pennsylvania Medical Society.

He is a member of the board of trustees for several organizations and institutions, including those for Berkshire Health Plan, DeSales University and the John Paul II School for Special Needs Children.

Dr. Pagerly earned her medical degree from the Pennsylvania State University College of Medicine. She then completed pediatric residencies at the University of South Carolina/Palmetto Health Children’s Hospital and Penn State Health Children’s Hospital.

Dr. Pagerly is a member of the American Academy of Pediatrics. In addition, she has earned her Pennsylvania Medical Training License, and is certified in Pediatric Advanced Life Support, Advanced Trauma Life Support and Neonatal Resuscitation Program.
