Media and Public Invited to St. Luke’s Health Center–Nazareth Open House on May 13

PLEASE NOTE: RIBBON CUTTING IS AT 11 AM

Bethlehem, PA (5/5/2017) – St. Luke’s Health Center–Nazareth will celebrate its completion and opening with an open house from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday May 13. The news media and public are invited.

The center is a new 12,600-square-foot structure housing three St. Luke’s units:

  • Physical Therapy at St. Luke’s
  • St. Luke’s Family Medicine-Nazareth
  • St. Luke’s Lab Services. (Walk-ins welcomed. No appointment needed for routine tests, including: allergy tests, blood tests, cancer monitoring, cholesterol/lipids, diabetes monitoring, infection detection, thyroid levels, urinalysis and more.)

The center will employ more than a dozen St. Luke’s employees.

“Our goal in Nazareth is to establish a patient centered practice conveniently located in the community,” physical therapist Judy Dougherty said. “We focus on having the best therapists as well as providing ongoing continuing education so that our patients receive the best care to help them achieve their rehab goals.”

The event will include free tours, balance and grip tests, kids’ activities, healthy snacks, giveaways and health screenings, such as musculoskeletal, cholesterol, blood pressure and body composition. Guests will have the opportunity to meet physicians, physical therapists and staff.

At 11 am, the ribbon cutting will feature:

  • Physical Therapy at St. Luke’s CEO Dennis Dougherty, PT, and Chief Operating Officer Judy Dougherty, PT, JD
  • Facility Director Seth Young, PT, MSPT
  • Catherine Schrei Broadt, DO, and Christopher M. Pogodzinski, MD of St. Luke’s Family Medicine Nazareth
  • Dignitaries of the Nazareth-Bath Regional Chamber of Commerce
