St. Luke’s and Allentown School District provide Thanksgiving meals to less fortunate
November 22, 2017

St. Luke’s Sports Medicine and the Allentown School District gathered and donated the makings for Thanksgiving dinner for 30 families this holiday season. Evelyn Payne, St. Luke’s Athletic Trainer at Dieruff High School, initiated the food drive to collect non-perishable goods and gift cards for turkeys. In the Allentown School District, where many families fall into the low income category, more than half of students rely on free and reduced-price lunches.
