Phillipsburg, NJ (4/8/2015) -- St. Luke’s Warren Campus has opened a new outpatient center, the Bone & Joint Institute at Hillcrest Plaza in Phillipsburg. The facility is a 20,000 square-foot outpatient facility that features physicians’ offices as well as a state-of-the-art rehabilitation suite for physical, occupational and speech therapies. The rehabilitation center is called Physical Therapy at St. Luke's.

Commenting at the Opening, Scott R. Wolfe, President of the St. Luke’s Warren Campus said, “We’re very pleased to be able to offer our patients multiple services in one convenient location. The Bone & Joint Institute will allow people to consult with a doctor and then walk next door for a blood test or an x-ray. Our therapy team is excited about having a lot more space to better accommodate their patients. Our staff can see more patients now, and the patients will experience more comfort and convenience than ever before.”

The Bone & Joint Institute is the second major project realized as part of the Building for Our Future campaign—a $36-million project to renovate and expand the St. Luke’s Warren Campus that is now in its second year. (The first project was the multifunctional Washington Outpatient Center that opened last month.) Later this year the Hospital plans to debut a new 12-bed intensive care unit and an infusion center for those in need of chemotherapy and other infusion therapies. This will be followed by upgrading nearly all of the patient rooms to support private accommodations as well as a major expansion of the Emergency Department.
