Physicians have Ties to the Area

The team at St. Luke's Miners Memorial Hospital includes physicians with ties to the area:

Dr. Christopher Cutitta Christopher Cutitta, DO is a native of the Palmerton area. He completed his undergraduate training at The Pennsylvania State University, medical school at Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine and his training in cardiovascular disease at Lehigh Valley Health Network. He has achieved level III training in echocardiography and looks to continue caring for patients with valvular heart disease. His other areas of interest include cardiac critical care, nuclear imaging and general cardiology.
Richard Kolecki, MD earned his medical degree at Jefferson Medical College. He completed an internship and residency at Lankenau Hospital in Philadelphia. Dr. Kolecki is board certified in cardiology and internal medical, providing general and interventional cardiology services. He has special interests in heart failure and advancements in interventional cardiology. Dr. Kolecki has been in practice since 1994, most recently seeing patients in Palmerton.
Dr. Lynn Moran Lynn Moran, DO, a native of Hazleton, PA, completed her undergraduate training at Lafayette College, medical school at Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine and her training in cardiovascular disease at Lehigh Valley Health Network. Her areas of interest in cardiology include echocardiography, where she has achieved level III training. Other areas of interest include women's heart health, valvular heart disease and nuclear cardiology.
Sobhan Kodali, MD received his medical training at St. John's Medical College, Bangalore, India. He trained in Internal Medicine at The Western Pennsylvania Hospital, Pittsburgh and completed a fellowship in cardiovascular disease at Allegheny General Hospital, Pittsburgh. He is board certified in internal medicine, echocardiography, nuclear cardiology and cardiovascular computed tomography. He is also certified in the interpretation of carotid ultrasound and peripheral vascular sonographic studies. Dr. Kodali has a special interest in transesophageal echocardiography, cardiovascular computed tomography and lipidology.

“Our cardiologists will be available on a daily basis to provide state-of-the-art service for patients in the Coaldale area in both an outpatient and hospital setting,” says Raymond Durkin, MD, Chief of Cardiology, St. Luke's Hospital & Health Network.
