St. Luke's Orthopedic Care - Anderson Campus
I am a board-certified orthopedic surgeon specializing in general orthopedics. My philosophy is to provide comprehensive orthopedic care for your entire family — your son, daughter, aunt, uncle, mom, dad and grandparents. I handle a wide variety of orthopedic cases, and if I can’t assist you, I will refer you to the appropriate subspecialist.
I understand that medicine is a complex language that requires interpretation. I believe in educating my patients about their conditions as thoroughly as I would want to be educated on complicated subjects.
Born in the coal region of Pennsylvania, home of Mrs. T’s Pierogies, I attended East Stroudsburg University, where I played football and graduated magna cum laude. I then earned a master’s of physical therapy degree from Allegheny University (formerly Hahnemann/Drexel University). After graduating, I worked as a licensed physical therapist in the Mercy Health System of Philadelphia for five years.
I pursued further education at the Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine (PCOM). After earning my medical degree, I completed an internship at St. Luke’s University Hospital in Bethlehem. I then continued my residency training at PCOM, graduating as an orthopedic surgeon. That same year, I joined St. Luke’s University Health Network, where I have been practicing orthopedics for the past 13 years.
I live in the Center Valley area and enjoy spending time with my immediate and extended family, cooking, attending sporting events and tackling DIY (do it yourself) projects. I am a member of the Pennsylvania Orthopedic Society and primarily work at St. Luke’s Anderson Campus in Easton. I truly enjoy working with the outstanding orthopedic team and providing the best orthopedic care to my patients.

“Procedure was properly explained and was understandable as well. The use of the pocket speaker really helped and it was my first experience with it. Definitely recommended to older people like myself as I have a hearing deficiency and it was helpful. I wear hearing aids as well.”

The Patient Satisfaction Rating is an average of all responses to the care provider related questions from our

“Had an excellent visit with Dr. Sacco and staff. What really impressed me was my follow up call 23 days later. Needed a referral for physical therapy. Was so surprised that the employee who answered the phone was able to access my chart and take all the information I wanted to relay to Dr. Sacco. I received a call back from a PA that a referral was given for PT as well as detailed information on further treatment plan if PT did not relieve my pain. When I misunderstood how to get the referral, upon calling back, the employee who answered the phone was able to access my chart and clear up my confusion.I was so impressed with the quick turn around to receive the PT referral as well as guidance for future care. I still cant believe how all my questions were answered in the same day so I could schedule a PT appointment next week.Thank you Dr. Sacco and staff. Daily pain is really hard to live with. So glad St Luke's Orthopedic Care-Anderson Campus respond quickly and thoroughly to their patients' needs.”
