Erik Radick, MD

I joined St. Luke’s University Health Network in 2020 and am board certified in adult psychiatry by the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology (ABPN) as well as sports psychiatry by the American Board of Sports and Performance Psychiatry (ABSPP). I provide adult, sports, and addiction psychiatry services and serve as Associate Program Director of the Psychiatry Residency Program, mentoring resident psychiatrists and overseeing their clinical training. 

As a consulting psychiatrist for Major League Baseball, I partner with several professional baseball organizations to support player mental health, well-being and performance. I also serve as a consulting psychiatrist for the LPGA Tour and participate in the PGA Tour Wellness Program. My research has explored the relationship between traumatic brain injury and suicide among retired NFL and NHL athletes. I maintain a strong interest in addressing neuropsychiatric symptoms in athletes and understanding how biological, psychological and social factors contribute to both mental wellness and peak performance. 

I take a humanistic, patient-centered approach to care, placing strong emphasis on the therapeutic relationship as the foundation of effective treatment. I integrate medication management and psychotherapy, tailoring each treatment plan to align with the individual needs, goals and preferences of my patients.
