As the St. Luke’s Pediatrics team enters an exciting phase of its evolution, we are shaping the future of pediatric services in our region through the addition of new pediatric subspecialists, new locations, growth of existing primary care offices and increased capabilities on the inpatient unit. Due to the significant growth at St. Luke’s University Health Network, we are expanding our pediatrics team with physicians who strive for excellence and want to make an impact!

Chief of Pediatrics

As a seasoned pediatrician, it was important to me to work with a team that valued quality, evidence-based pediatrics and patient advocacy as much as I do. Working for St. Luke’s clinically and chairing the pediatrics department administratively allows me to serve patients both one at a time and as a community at large. I am particularly grateful for the support I have had to grow our department, and I am proud of the advances in care and access we have made.

St. Luke’s Pediatrics offers outpatient practices in a variety of settings: small and large, urban and rural, for both primary care and pediatric specialists. With the support of our pediatric hospitalists, NICU team and fellow pediatricians, this collegial environment fosters both personal and professional growth and work life balance.

The number and quality of the services that we offer are excellent. From our 800-plus outpatient providers, to our numerous ancillary services, to our multiple hospital based services, St. Luke’s truly cares for the communities we serve. We have opportunities to fit any desired work environment. We have single provider to large group practices and rural and urban practices.

There are teaching positions in our numerous residencies, both hospital- and clinic-based. Whatever you are looking for in a practice, we have it for you. I hope I get the opportunity to speak with you further and share the opportunities that St. Luke’s has for you. I am sure we have a position that you will find to be a truly rewarding career opportunity.

St. Luke’s, recognized for four consecutive years as an IBM Watson 100 Top Major Teaching Hospital, is a 14,000 employee health system consisting of more than 1,400 physicians with 10 hospitals spanning northeastern Pennsylvania and western New Jersey. St. Luke’s is rapidly growing, financially strong, and has sustained high, reputable quality ratings. St. Luke’s offers a highly rewarding career and the opportunity to feel a part of a winning team.

The Greater Lehigh Valley: Yes! We Have That!

There’s nothing you can’t find in the Lehigh Valley.

First of all, the Lehigh Valley is set amid gentle hills and charming country sides. It is home to Allentown, Bethlehem and Easton, as well as dozens of small towns and picturesque boroughs. Steeped in pre-Colonial, Early American and industrial history, the region’s storied past became its uplifting present, providing a fun, safe, exciting and thriving place to live, work and raise a family.

New York-caliber restaurants? Got ‘em. Nationally recognized events like Musikfest and Christkindlemarkt (as well as smaller, quaint festivals)? Yup, they’re here. Beautiful parks and miles and miles of trails and waterways? You bet. Tons of outdoor adventure opportunities? Just think Pocono Mountains! World famous companies making some of the finest products around? How about Crayola Crayons, Yuengling Brewery and Martin Guitars to name a few. World-class museums? Yes. Exciting sports? Only if you like baseball, hockey, soccer, football and more! Excellent education? Hundreds of high schools and seven highly regarded colleges and universities. World class healthcare? St. Luke’s has that covered.

Travel outside the Lehigh Valley proper and you’re in for a treat. The towns, boroughs and small communities that make up the Greater Lehigh Valley offer history, adventure and an atmosphere of discovery that would take you a lifetime to explore. And if you like “the city,” take a day trip to New York, Philadelphia or Washington, DC – yes, they’re that close and just waiting for you...
