About the
Program

The St. Luke's Integrated IR Residency program goal is to provide trainees with the necessary skills to reach their full potential as both diagnostic and interventional radiologists in an intellectually challenging, yet wonderfully collegial environment.

If you have a passion for both the art and science of image-guided medicine and surgery and want to acquire the skills necessary to deliver top-notch and compassionate care to your patients, this is the training program you are looking for.

Our integrated IR resident will be trained alongside six Diagnostic Radiology colleagues in a nationally recognized teaching hospital network that sponsors over 36 graduate medical education programs. Our first class of residents for both Diagnostic Radiology and Integrated IR residency programs started July 1, 2023. We are planning to add an ESIR track in the near future.

St. Luke's teaching programs are nationally recognized according to external benchmarks because we provide a better teaching and learning environment than most other teaching hospitals. Over 95% of all residents and fellows pass their board exams and a third of our network's vacancies are filled with our graduates as we continue to thrive and grow.

Driven to provide high quality care

One unique feature of this program is the strong collaboration between IR and vascular surgery. Our teams work together on high-volume, complex vascular cases, including aortic intervention, mesenteric and renal arterial intervention, carotid stenting and peripheral arterial intervention, setting us apart from most other IR training programs in the nation.

Our faculty, trained at prestigious institutions nationwide, brings a diverse and comprehensive skill set, ensuring residents graduating from our program are ready to tackle the most challenging situations.

Join us and embark on a transformative journey towards becoming a skilled and compassionate interventional radiologist.
