My Proud Story...

After a terrible accident caused me to be hospitalized for a month and literally put back together by St. Luke’s orthopedic doctors, I decided to pursue a career in healthcare. During the months I spent in a wheelchair, doing physical therapy and having doctor appointment after doctor appointment, I gained an appreciation for the nurses and doctors who made me realize that more caring people were needed in the healthcare field. After my recovery, I was at a crossroads, so I decided to go to school to be a medical assistant with the intention of working with orthopedics, but found nephrology to be what I loved. I love assisting the doctors I work with and providing amazing service to patients so they know me by name and trust me to help them.
