As board certified cardiologist and nuclear cardiologist, I like to have my patients on the least amount of medication that is feasible. I try to take care of patients as if they were family members.
I earned my medical degree at the University of Michigan School of Medicine, completed a residency at Montefiore Medical Center and a fellowship at North Shore University Hospital in New York. I have special interest and skills in pacemaker and defibrillator implants and I am a fellow of the American College of Cardiology.
Outside of work, I bike on Sundays (with good weather), play racquet sports and enjoy teasing my friends and family.

“The visit with Dr. Markson and staff was excellent. The nurse was extremely thorough and detailed about everything. She went above and beyond even with small things I mentioned. The doctor was outstanding. While being extremely knowledgeable and professional, the doctor was also kind, attentive, and spent a great deal of time with me. He explained everything very clearly, listened to all of my concerns and questions completely and with great interest. I left feeling very good in many ways. When I left, there was a detailed plan in place and I was reassured about all of my concerns. Dr. Markson addressed and alleviated all of my worries and fears.I would highly recommend him and his staff.”
