I'm a general cardiologist, with board certifications in internal medicine, general cardiology, nuclear cardiology, and echocardiography. I’ve also been recognized as a Fellow of the American College of Cardiology (FACC), a symbol of dedication and achievement within the field of Cardiology. Although my philosophy of care will always focus on first preventing the onset of cardiovascular disease in my patients, I treat a variety of cardiac conditions including hypertension, hyperlipidemia, heart rhythm issues, valvular heart disease, coronary artery disease, and congestive heart failure. I have a special interest in cardiac imaging, utilizing the latest techniques in three-dimensional echocardiography, CT coronary calcium scoring, CT coronary angiography, and nuclear stress testing. As part of a multidisciplinary group at St. Luke’s University Health Network, my colleagues and I offer patients a team based approach to treating the entire range of cardiovascular conditions within a cohesive system.
I received my medical degree from the Dow University of Health Sciences, and completed my Residency and Fellowship training at Lehigh Valley Health Network. One core tenet to my philosophy of patient care involves the ability to always give back to the community and patients that gave me my medical education. Joining St. Luke’s University Health Network has allowed me that opportunity, providing me with the cutting-edge resources and facilities needed to ensure the best possible care for my patients.
I take great pride in knowing each of my patients on a personal level, and I firmly believe that an individualized and holistic approach to your healthcare based on your own personal values is the key to good outcomes. My goal is to treat my patients as I would treat my own family, with sincerity and compassion. It’s very important to me that my patients understand their medical conditions, what our short and long term goals are for their health, and why they’re taking each medication on their list. As with most things in life, we should always be striving for improvement. Your health is no different, and I look forward to joining you on your healthcare journey to help navigate through the latest advancements in clinical cardiology.

“When I last visited, we talked about a wide range of issues related to my heart and other procedures that I recently had. We also had a discussion about the impact of my family's medical history and the relationship to my condition. This was EXCELLENT, and I greatly appreciate the care/time spent.”

“I visited doctor to help me determine what is causing a physical problem. Dr. Listened intently to my symptoms, my concerns and avenues already explored to help figure out what is going on with my body. He discussed my pertinent medical history and explained test results clearly and concisely. I felt heard and validated. Next steps were discussed and appointments scheduled to fit my schedule. I felt respected and my condition was seriously taken.”

The Patient Satisfaction Rating is an average of all responses to the care provider related questions from our
nationally recognized Press Ganey Patient Satisfaction Survey. Patients that are treated in outpatient or hospital environments may receive different surveys, and the volume of responses will vary by question.
Responses are measured on a scale of 1 to 5 with 5 being the best score.
The comments are submitted by patients and reflect their views and opinions. The comments are not endorsed by and do
not necessarily reflect the views of St. Luke’s University Health Network.
“I appreciate how busy the office and physicians are; and, I generally take exception to our healthcare system in the United States (I don't like the impact on healthcare providers nor patients with how difficult it is to receive care). The only challenge for me was scheduling an appointment which the doctor far exceeded and helped resolve. I was both nervous and uncomfortable with how I was feeling and asking to be seen. The doctor and his staff could not have been better, both academically and with bedside manner. Very much appreciate their and St. Luke's care.”
