Orthopedic Surgery | Orthopedic Sports Medicine

An Emmaus High School graduate, I grew up in Allentown with a close association to the medical field as my father practiced internal medicine for more than 30 years. My commitment to athletics in high school and college along with my desire to pursue a career in medicine made orthopaedic surgery the obvious choice.

As a former rower, I understand how devastating injuries can be to athletes. My practice is dedicated to helping patients and athletes return to peak performance as quickly and safely as possible. I focus on arthroscopic and joint reconstruction procedures of the shoulder and elbow, as well as arthroscopic procedures of the knee, such as ACL (anterior cruciate ligament) reconstructions. I also regularly perform total and partial knee replacements for patients suffering from arthritic knee pain.

I graduated from the University of Scranton before obtaining my medical degree at Temple University School of Medicine. I then completed fellowship training at the Mississippi Sports Medicine and Orthopaedic Center. I am an associate Masters Instructor for the Arthroscopy Association of North America and hold a Certificate of Added Qualifications in Sports Medicine.

I am active in educating medical residents and students, as well as physician assistants (PAs) and physician assistant students. When not caring for patients, I enjoy spending time with my wife and three children, and supporting the Miracle League of the Lehigh Valley.
