St. Luke's Caring For Women - Wilson
I am a physician assistant at St. Luke’s University Health Network with more than 20 years of experience as a medical provider in the field of women’s health. I work with a team of amazing women at St. Luke’s Caring for Women facility. I started working in my current office as a medical assistant when I was 16 and eventually became a physician assistant. After years of working in this role, I still strive to grow and learn as a provider. Holding a doctorate degree in medical science (DMSc) and actively engaging in leadership initiatives, I continuously work to elevate the standard of care for our patients.
I have spent my career developing relationships with women in our community. Every day, I aim to create an environment of honesty and support throughout our office. It is important to create a judgement-free space where each of my patients feels heard. One of the things I like best about my job is the opportunity to educate women so they can become stronger, better-informed advocates for themselves and their family members. Holding a doctorate and actively engaging in leadership initiatives, I continue to work to elevate the standard of care for our patients.
When I’m not caring for patients, my life typically consists of running kids around to practices and being their loudest fan on the sidelines. I am a proud wife and mother, an animal advocate and a huge foodie. If you see me around, say, “Hi.” I love seeing my “work families” out in the community!

“Dr Julie was excellent for my first OB appointment at St Luke's. I recently switched from another practice and was apprehensive about the change. Dr Julie made me feel very comfortable, she was very thorough and took time to explain everything I needed to know, and she was kind, caring, and competent in her delivery of care. Additionally the front desk staff and nurses were helpful and caring. Thank you for a wonderful first experience at St Luke's!”

“I have been going to JULIE IALEGGIO at Caring for Women for nearly 10 years. The care that I have received from all physicians has always been exceptional. Julie is compassionate, extremely knowledgeable, and always goes the extra mile to make sure that both my medical needs and my emotional/mental needs are met. I also want to make note my nurse on the day of the appointment was wonderful and compassionate. This is not uncommon as I have always appreciated the entire team (nurses, physicians & clerical) at the office off of Freemansburg! As always, I am very grateful to have such a wonderful OBGYN care team at Caring for Women. Thank you!”
