St. Luke's Orthopedic Care - Bethlehem
I am an orthopedic trauma surgeon who specializes in acute/reconstructive trauma, fracture and limb-lengthening surgery, treating patients with injuries of the bones, tendons and muscles.
As an orthopedic trauma surgeon, I help people escape the overwhelming despair of trauma.
I am passionate about the care of injured patients and helping people with fractures regain function and return to a productive life.
I was born in New York and raised in Georgia. I completed a fellowship in orthopedic trauma surgery at Vanderbilt University Medical Center, Nashville, which followed an orthopedic surgery residency and internship at Georgia Baptist Medical Center, Atlanta. I earned my medical degree at the Medical College of Georgia, School of Medicine, Augusta, and received an MBA from Auburn University.
I have made medical mercy mission trips to some of the world’s poorest nations, which have had a profound impact on me. I have performed surgeries using only rudimentary instruments and supplies in Africa, Mongolia and the Far East. There I have taught local surgeons advanced operative and restorative techniques, so they can continue performing these procedures independently.
I am a Diplomate of the American Board of Orthopaedic Surgery, and have held leadership positions with American Board of Orthopaedic Surgery, American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons, Orthopaedic Trauma Association, American Orthopaedic Association and the American College of Surgeons.
I am married and the father of two adult sons.

“Dr. Lundy explained my pain coming from my hip. Asked me what did I want to do with my hip pain next. I asked about another shot for the pain hip and then referred me to a bone specialist for my hip as a follow up in 3 months after the shot. So we can start to discuss my options and feel comfortable with the bone specialist.”

“After my hospitalization & PT for 14 days at St Lukes, I was referred to Dr. Lundy to review another scan of my left arm.I am very glad this happened since I was discharged - with no sling, my choice of wearing if needed, and continued without sling 4 more days of PT therapy until my release on Aug 26. Dr. Lundy gave me a sling In his office and said to wear It for 4 weeks. Period. Or I may be looking at surgery. Even from my first visit with him I felt completely safe In his hands and so far have not removed my sling. I look forward to seeing In when my 4 weeks are up and await what I hope Is good news.”

“Dr Lundy took careful note of what happened to me during emergency admission to another hospital. The information he saw in my records led him to immediately call in his partner, an orthopedic surgeon specialist. I had an appointment with that new doctor in just three days. They are on my case, looking after me. Thank you, St. Luke's!”
