St. Luke’s Dermatology Residency


Unique to St. Luke’s Dermatology are the following clinical and training assets:

  • A core faculty supported programmatically (i.e. through formal employment contracts) for time dedicated to training the next generation of dermatologists, producing scholarly works, and participating in academic enrichment
  • A progressive and comprehensive dermatology faculty utilizing the latest technologies and treatment protocols to deliver the best clinical outcomes
  • Board-certified dermatologists with sub-specialty board certification in dermatopathology and recognized expertise in melanocytic lesions and cutaneous lymphomas
  • Fellowship-trained Mohs surgeons leading the fight against complex skin cancers
  • A fellowship-trained Director of Surgical Education
  • The region’s only board-certified pediatric dermatologist
  • A robust inpatient and consultative dermatology service that utilizes in-person and tele-dermatology to service more than 10 area hospitals
  • A multi-disciplinary dermatology clinic for complex medical patients that includes rheumatology, nephrology, and internal medicine
  • A highly regarded laser and procedural program with a focus on reconstructive, restorative, and skin enhancement efforts
  • A multi-disciplinary approach to scar mitigation and prevention through the Scar Treatment and Rehabilitation (S.T.A.R.) program
  • The region’s only Nail Clinic
  • The Eczema and Psoriasis Institute (E.P.I.), the first and only multi-disciplinary program of its kind in the Lehigh Valley
  • An early-phase clinical trials research program for difficult to treat conditions
  • An integrated “service-line” approach with St. Luke’s Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery that includes working collaboratively with highly-trained plastic surgeons (including a pediatric plastic surgeon)
  • A novel model for coordinated care of complex cutaneous oncology with a particular focus on melanoma management
