Primary Care

St. Luke’s University Health Network with its network of 10 acute care hospitals and more than 60 primary care practices actively recruits its graduates to enter primary care. During training, residents interested in primary care may elect to do their entire third-year continuity clinic in a faculty run practice. Here residents provide preventive care, diagnose and manage acute and chronic medical illnesses and provide transition of care visits (i.e. post-hospital follow-up) as well as Medicare Wellness visits. The resident also learns about the business aspects of practice and several office-based procedures.
