St. Luke's University Hospital Network is diverse and expansive with fully integrated Epic ambulatory and inpatient EMR across 15 hospital campuses and more than 350 ambulatory sites. St Luke’s is responsible for training more than 500 GME Residents and Fellows, including a podiatric surgery residency, a vascular fellowship, and a plastic surgery fellowship that work closely together. The fellow’s primary surgical locales will include St. Luke’s Bethlehem, Allentown, Anderson, and Quakertown campuses. The St. Luke's Bethlehem campus is a CMS 5 Star Hospital and an IBM Watson Top 100 Major Teaching Hospital, 5 years in a row. Bethlehem houses our award winning Level I Trauma Center and serves as our tertiary care facility. The Bethlehem campus is the official “International Show Site for GE Medical Imaging.” Next generation technology that is available for the fellows clinical and educational activities includes a portable FLIR One Dynamic Infrared Thermography unit, ViOptix T.Ox system for non-invasive remote monitoring of oxygen saturation of targeted tissues, the SPY Elite imaging system for observation of blood flow in real time and a virtual anatomy lab with the state-of-the-art digital Anatomage table with a multi-layered 3D cadaver model.
