Curriculum

Limb Salvage Fellowship

The fellow will have the following rotations:

  • 3 months of plastic and reconstructive surgery
  • 6 months of podiatric medicine and surgery and wound care at St. Luke’s
  • 1 week rotation at Duke University’s Microsurgical Techniques and Skills Training Course (reimbursed via the fellow’s GME allowance)
  • 2 months of podiatric surgery with reconstructive rear/foot ankle surgery with Dr. Zachary Ritter at UPMC Williamsport
  • 1 month of vascular surgery

St. Luke’s Limb Preservation fellows take advantage of many educational opportunities, including weekly didactic lectures, research seminars, journal clubs, individual mentoring, board review lecture series, and participation in professional committees.
