“I have been a patient of Dr Krause for 44 years and the only complaint I have is that I was told I had to become a "NEW" patient again because I did not see him since 2023. My husband was diagnosed with pancreatic cancer in 2022 and although I did not personally have a medical appointment, I did accompany my husband to his appointment with Dr. Krause. I was more concerned of my husband's health than mine. Perhaps St. Luke's could send a reminder to a patient before taking them off the books as a patient, especially someone who has been with the same doctor for over 4 decades.”

“All that I can say is that I will miss Dr. Krause very much when he retires. He has been my doctor for over forty years. He is an exceptional doctor and a great husband man being in general. The doctor who will be filling his spot at the practice will have some big shoes to fill. I can't even imagine going to a PCP that isn't Dr Krause. That being said I do wish him well in his retirement. I Think the whole town of Tamaqua will be a little sad to see him go. He is so iconic in the healthcare there.”

The Patient Satisfaction Rating is an average of all responses to the care provider related questions from our
nationally recognized Press Ganey Patient Satisfaction Survey. Patients that are treated in outpatient or hospital environments may receive different surveys, and the volume of responses will vary by question.
