Counseling and Psychiatry

At some point in our lives, we all face situations that overwhelm us. Whether it’s managing an illness, trying to balance work and family, grieving the loss of a loved one, facing the end of a relationship, caring for an elderly parent, or some other challenge, life can sometimes give us more than we can handle on our own. St. Luke’s and St. Luke’s Penn Foundation are here to help.

Our counseling services for adults offer a variety of treatment approaches to address individual and family life difficulties and emotional disorders for children, adolescents, and adults. We individualize therapy to meet the unique needs of each person and/or family. Additionally, we provide gender-affirming services and culturally competent LGVTQIA+ care.

We will begin with an initial assessment. Other available services include Psychological Evaluations; Psychiatric Evaluations; Medication Management; Individual, Family, and Marital Counseling; and Group Counseling.

Our treatment model builds upon the individual’s and/or family’s strengths. Each client is actively encouraged to participate in the development of his/her individualized treatment plan, which lists goals and objectives that will guide the direction of treatment.
