Case Reports

GME Data Header

Case reports are not ‘research’ in the formal sense; therefore, they don’t require Institutional Review Board (IRB) approval. However, before publishing a case report, it is important to let patients know how their medical information will be used and to obtain their written consent for including this information in your manuscript.

If you plan to submit a case report for publication, click here for the SLUHN Case Report Publication Policy and Patient Consent Form. Please refer to this checklist for assistance in writing your case report.
