Easton Hospital, a member of the Steward Health Care family, has partnered with St. Luke’s University Health Network to provide maternal and newborn services.
“St. Luke’s has an excellent obstetrics program and the best facilities around,” said Linda Grass, President of Easton Hospital. “This collaboration enables our patients to continue receiving their obstetrical and gynecologic care at the same office location at Brighton and Easton Area Obstetrics and Gynecology Associates, deliver their babies at St. Luke’s new Women and Babies Pavilion at St. Luke’s Anderson Campus in Easton and have their gynecologic surgeries performed at Easton Hospital with their current Steward Medical Group physicians.”
Last month, St. Luke’s opened its Women & Babies Pavilion at the 500-acre Anderson Campus in Bethlehem Township just off Route 33. This investment, adding to the Network’s existing labor and delivery units in Allentown and Bethlehem, represents St. Luke’s continued commitment to providing high-level maternal and newborn care to the region. The pavilion is a four-floor, 180,000-square-foot facility that includes nine labor and delivery rooms, a Level III Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) with eight private rooms and 18 semi-private rooms, a 32-room postpartum unit and a 16-bassinet nursery.

Easton Hospital and St. Luke’s have established a strong and ongoing partnership to maximize the quality of patient care for the Easton community. Over the past year, St. Luke’s began providing Easton Hospital with: 1) telestroke services, 2) trauma and other services for higher acuity, tertiary patients, 3) neonatal intensive care services for high risk babies and, 4) cardiothoracic surgery.
