The St. Luke’s Singers present their Spring Concert on May 21, 2017, at Wesley Methodist Church on Center Street in Bethlehem. The doors open at 2:15 p.m. Preludes begin at 2:45 p.m. and the concert begins at 3 p.m.

The St. Luke’s Singers are a hospital-based choir whose performances raise funds for various programs within St. Luke’s University Health Network. Since 1991, the Singers have raised more than a quarter-million dollars.

Proceeds from this Spring Concert will benefit St. Luke’s hospice services.

The St. Luke’s Singers will present a varied repertoire. In the sacred portion of the program, they will sing from Handel, Randall Thompson, John Rutter and John Leavitt. The second half of the concert contains: “Buffalo Gals” and “Homeward Bound” with four handed piano accompaniment, “Ain’t Misbehavin’” and “They Can’t Take that Away from Me” with instrumentalists. The concert closes with “God Bless America,” arranged by Joseph M. Martin.

The Singers welcome back our brass quartet and rhythm section. Organist and accompanist, Brian C. Snyder, will be featured. Guest artists include former accompanist, Romaine Laury, and soprano Michele Giletto from the St. Luke’s Regional Breast Center.
