Training and Education

Stop the Bleed Training consists of a 30-minute presentation by a certified Stop the Bleed Trainer and 30 minutes for skills stations/hands-on training on how to use a tourniquet and how to pack a wound.

The Stop the Bleed presentation is the same for the lay public as it is for clinical personnel.

When clinical personnel are trained in Stop the Bleed, they are then able to train others in the community on Stop the Bleed, following the same curriculum.

Currently, Stop the Bleed Trainings are held monthly for individuals in the St. Luke’s University Hospital Trauma Conference Room, 801 Ostrum Street, Bethlehem, PA 18015. To view and register for upcoming classes click here.
