St. Luke's Dr. Nicholas Avallone Named NJ ‘Top Doc’ in Region for 6th Year
April 23, 2019

Nicholas Avallone, MD, of St. Luke’s Orthopedic Care has been named an outstanding New Jersey physician in the region for 2019 by Castle Connolly Medical Limited.

This achievement is nothing new for Dr. Avallone; this is the sixth straight year his fellow New Jersey physicians have voted for him as a “Top Doctor” in the region for orthopedic surgery.

“I feel very fortunate to be named a regional top doctor again,” Dr. Avallone said.  “Our team at St. Luke’s Orthopedic Care strives to provide world class care to our local community.  It is rewarding to help people every day by simply trying to do the right thing for their health.”

Each year, Castle Connolly surveys New Jersey physicians, asking them which of their colleagues they would send their families to for specialty care. Responding physicians once again chose Dr. Avallone in the Orthopedic Surgery specialty under the Sports Medicine sub-specialty. The awards are listed online by Castle Connolly.

Dr. Avallone has been with St. Luke’s for seven years and at the Warren Campus for 12 years. He practices at St. Luke’s Orthopedic Care, which has offices in Clinton and Phillipsburg, NJ, and also at St. Luke’s Warren Campus.
