St. Luke’s Wound Center in Phillipsburg Hosts Open House

Foot Screenings Available by Appointment

The newly renovated St. Luke’s Wound Management & Hyperbaric Center – Phillipsburg invites members of the public to attend an open house on Thursday, May 9 from 3 to 6 pm. The center is located at St. Luke’s Warren Campus, 185 Roseberry Street, Phillipsburg, NJ.

Guests will have the opportunity to tour the center and see hyperbaric oxygen chambers, which provide a highly effective, painless treatment to heal wounds and radiation complications that are not responding to other treatments.

In addition, guests may register for a free foot screening by a licensed podiatrist or wound care specialist. Appointments required. To register for the open house or to schedule a foot screening, call St. Luke’s InfoLink 1-866-STLUKES (785-8537), option 4.

St. Luke’s Wound Management Centers specialize in treating wounds caused by:

  • Diabetes (especially foot wounds)
  • Trauma
  • Disorders of the veins and arteries of lower extremities
  • Pressure-related injuries
  • Complex surgery

The center offers hyperbaric oxygen therapy (HBOT), a highly effective, painless treatment to heal wounds and radiation complications that are not responding to other treatments. During treatment sessions, patients lie in a clear acrylic chamber filled with pressurized oxygen. The pressure, combined with pure oxygen, increases the concentration of oxygen in the blood stream, in turn enhancing the body’s ability to heal itself.
