Juan Carlos Martinez, MD, a former General Surgery Chief Resident, has returned to St. Luke’s University Health Network to join St. Luke’s Plastic Surgery after completing fellowships in Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery, as well as Microsurgery.
"During Dr. Martinez’ general surgery residency here at St. Luke's, I had the pleasure of working with him. He demonstrated an interest in plastic surgery early on,” says W. Michael Morrissey Jr., DMD, MD, St. Luke's Chief of Plastic Surgery. "I was impressed by his surgical skill, and attention to detail. After completing his general surgery training here at St. Luke's, he pursued further training in plastic surgery, and completed not only a plastic surgery residency, but also a one-year Fellowship in Microsurgery, both at Ohio State University. We are very pleased that he has joined our plastic surgery group at St. Luke's. He will be an excellent addition to our team."
“I am honored to join St. Luke’s Plastic Surgery and work with such an exceptional team of physicians and staff,” Dr. Martinez says. “During my residency, I found that St Luke’s culture has remained committed to its mission and core values, placing the patient at the center of the community it serves. It is a fantastic atmosphere to work in. I am delighted to return and be part of the St. Luke’s family.”
