Radiology Residency

St. Luke’s Health Network (SLUHN) is a non-profit, regional, fully integrated, and nationally recognized network. Our radiology department is the sole imaging service provider for SLUHN, which consists of Diagnostic Radiologists, Interventional Radiologists, Vascular Surgeons, and Advanced Practitioners who are committed to providing the highest quality service to the Lehigh Valley and Western New Jersey communities. We have a longstanding relationship with GE Healthcare and serve as a show site for their latest innovations. This relationship keeps us at the frontier of radiologic imaging and will expose you to the latest technologies in our field.

While we may be located in a non-Urban setting, we are a large integrated organization that operates like any other city-based major academic center with tertiary care services. We have a wide breadth of pathology and a high volume of cases from 12 different hospital campuses and outpatient imaging centers.

The department is equipped with excellent radiologists who are committed to providing the highest quality service to the Lehigh valley community. Our radiologists strive to not only produce sophisticated reports but are always available for expert consultation to their clinical colleagues. Furthermore, we have a longstanding relationship with GE Health care and serve as a show site for their latest innovations. The radiology department has already been educating medical students and residents from other departments in our network for decades. We are a large multispecialty group of Diagnostic and Interventional Radiologist and Vascular Surgeons performing over a million studies a year and have multiple regional trauma centers (level 1 at Bethlehem and 2 at Anderson) not to mention over 14 stroke centers in our network. Now that we have been approved for a diagnostic radiology residency, we have the opportunity to provide the ultimate educational experience to you. As a new program, we have the unique opportunity to prepare you for the ever-evolving global radiology service needs and bring your educational experience into the modern era. It is important that we have a unique opportunity to design and create a brand-new program that best leverages technology to meet the residency educational needs in the post-Covid Era.
