General Surgery

“The general surgery residency at St. Luke's is truly a hidden gem for so many reasons. The case volume and variety provided me with a strong surgical foundation, and I had the opportunity to treat the most complex surgical patients. I was exposed to all facets of general surgery with no shortage of vascular, colorectal, trauma, thoracic, and surgical oncology cases, just to name a few. St. Luke's is a busy hospital with a community feel but also academic fortitude with plenty of research opportunities. However, what makes St. Luke's standout is the incredible teaching and mentorship from the attending’s. After graduating from St. Luke's, I felt well-prepared for my vascular surgery fellowship and am thankful for the top-notch training I received.”
