St. Luke’s Nurse Manager Kim Reichard administers the COVID vaccine to Allentown Police Officer April Knerr while fellow Officer Leonard Fritzinger, Jr., stands by.  

St. Luke’s University Health Network assisted in vaccinating  Allentown police on Tuesday.

A number of officers from Allentown Police Department received the COVID vaccine at St. Luke’s Sacred Heart Campus.

“St. Luke’s Sacred Heart Campus is proud to support the police officers who are serving our  community so valiantly during these challenging times,” said Sacred Heart Campus President Frank Ford. “We are all in this together, and by working together we’ll beat this pandemic.”

Allentown Police Chief Glenn Granitz said, “I appreciate St. Luke’s efforts to help keep our officers healthy so they can continue to protect and serve our Allentown community.”
