Cardiology Fellowship

Jamshid Shirani, MD

Program Director, Department of Cardiology

"The new three-year clinical program started in July 2011 and initially will enroll two fellows per year of training.

This new program is designed to complement the existing residency/fellowship programs and the regional campus of the Medical School of Temple University/St. Luke's University Health Network in providing a high level of clinical training and exposure in the field of cardiovascular disease. Our goal is to provide quality training with the hope to further improve the already high quality care offered to the population served by St. Luke's Hospital & Health Network.

The new program is supported by state-of-the-art clinical facilities with an accredited chest pain unit, diagnostic imaging equipment as well as vascular and cardiothoracic surgical services.”
